2026 Dates
Our weekend starts with a van ride heading out of town, making a key stop in Sisters, OR. We hit the grocery store where campers help guides pick out items for the weekend (giving them input on the food!), followed by a stop at Sisters Bakery for a treat.
On the way to Cascadia State Park, we stop for an afternoon of free-play exploration—classic R.A.D. style. Once we arrive at the campsite, we set up camp together and cook dinner over the fire.
The Night Shift: After dinner, we head down to the water for a crawfish hunt and bug catching before settling in for sleep.
Sunday Morning: We wake up to a campfire breakfast (Pancakes & Eggs), then head back down to the water to hang out and play for the rest of the day before packing up and heading home.

Fueling the Adventure
Hearty, healthy, and camper-approved meals cooked under the stars.
We know that big days in the wilderness require big energy. That’s why we don't treat food as an afterthought. Our guides whip up fresh, nutritious, and filling meals right at the campsite, turning mealtime into a communal event. We focus on "comfort food" that appeals to tired campers, ensuring everyone goes to sleep full and wakes up ready to explore.
The Menu: What to Expect
🥪 Saturday Lunch: BYO (Bring Your Own) – Please pack a sack lunch for the first day. We’ll eat this on the trail during our first adventure stop.
🔥 Saturday Dinner: The Campfire Cookout (Included) – The Vibe: Cooked fresh at camp after setting up tents. Typical Menu: Taco Night with all the fixings, grilled burgers (beef or veggie), or backcountry pasta with marinara and veggies. Dessert: S’mores around the fire are mandatory.
🥞 Sunday Breakfast: The Power Start (Included) – The Vibe: Hot, hearty, and served with cocoa. Typical Menu: "Mountain Pancakes," scrambled eggs, and fresh fruit to fuel the day’s water activities.
🌯 Sunday Lunch: The Trail Fuel (Included) – The Vibe: Quick, nutritious, and eaten lakeside. Typical Menu: DIY deli wraps (turkey/hummus/cheese), chips, fruit, and trail snacks.
