Summer break is a time to relax, enjoy and rejuvenate for the upcoming academic year.

Summer camps allow children to embark on new adventures, learn essential skills, make new friends, and spend some screen-free time in the great outdoors. Summer camps are a lot of fun and add much value to your child’s growth and development.

The following four reasons should convince you to register your child for a summer camp this year.

Summer Camp Teaches Teamwork

Our summer camps conduct individual exploration and team-building exercises.

We engage your children in team-oriented activities. These activities may include hiking, nature scavenger hunt, and other fun tasks which require cooperation with your team members.

These activities teach the importance of collaboration and teamwork and improve the children’s  problem-solving skills. We teach that working together works in a fun and unique way. Strong communication skills, a cooperative approach, and the ability to make spontaneous decisions are important aspects of successful teamwork.

  • Team-building exercises help to instill these important aspects into the personalities of children.

We also allow ample time for individual exploration and discovery.

Develop New Social Bonds and Skills

In summer camp children from different communities and backgrounds come together to give your child an opportunity to interact with children other than their schoolmates and to develop new social bonds. It widens your child’s social circle and improves social skills, empowering them to connect with different people. It also teaches the critical value of inclusivity.

  • This is especially helpful for shy kids who have trouble befriending peers outside their comfort zone. At summer camps, children are grouped to achieve different goals and targets through fun activities. Many long-lasting friendships stem from these camps.

A Chance to Connect with Nature

Research shows that children aged between 7-and 12 spend half as much time outdoors as their parents did when they were of the same age. Summer camps offer a fantastic opportunity to spend considerable time outdoors and explore mother nature.

Most summer camp activities are conducted outdoors and require physical labor. Sporting endeavors, hiking, trekking, play tag challenges, yoga, and other light exercises build physical strength and endurance and promote a healthy lifestyle.

  • Summer camps are an excellent way for children to spend time outdoors and channel pent-up energy constructively for all the children who are cooped up inside their homes most of the year.

Builds Self-Esteem and Confidence

Another important aspect of enrolling kids in summer camps is to teach them independence and self-reliance. Most kids will be away from their families and the comfort of home for the first time and will be carrying out activities on their own. At summer camps, kids learn new skills and compete with one another in different fun activities.

Healthy competition and new experiences build children’s self-esteem and improve their confidence. Participating in a wide range of activities such as hiking, skiing, and exploring nature gives a sense of achievement and boosts the child’s self-confidence.

  • Children with more self-awareness and a positive self-image tend to excel in academics and other aspects of life.
